Welcome to D NICOLE! We are seeking experienced professionals to fill several positions assisting children, adults, and elders with developmental and intellectual disabilities by enhancing their quality of life for day-to-day living.

Purpose:
This position directly supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position helps with everyday tasks such as ADLs. These include daily grooming, meal preparations, risk mitigation, and following any applicable behavioral management plans as defined by the client's individual service plan (ISP).
Essential Duties:
- Previous experience in senior care, home health, or direct support roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients effectively.
- Familiarity with working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus.
- Certification in CPR and basic first aid is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A compassionate attitude towards caregiving and a commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately while demonstrating patience and empathy.
- Assist clients with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
- Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary restrictions are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Document client progress and any changes in condition while respecting resident rights.
- Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals, including direct support for individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
- Administer CPR and first aid as needed in emergency situations.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide hospice care when required.

- Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Required Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or equivalent education is required.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications:
1-year experience preferred working with Intellectual/Developmental Disability populations.
