Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide in-home reliable caregiver for an elderly client diagnosed with dementia. The ideal candidate will have experience working with dementia, a calm demeanor, and ability to provide consistent care in a respectful and patient manner. Ideal candidate should also be comfortable working in an environment with pets.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
- Preparing meals and providing light housekeeping.
- Medication reminders and basic health monitoring.
- Offering companionship and emotional support.
- Accompanying clients to appointments or errands
- Ensure client safety and well-being at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required.
-Certification as a PCA or CNA preferred but not Mandatory.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
- Experience working with dementia clients
