Position Summary
We are seeking an organized, dependable, and fast-paced Personal Assistant to support the owner of a busy construction and snow services company. This role is primarily field-based (~80% on the road) and involves assisting with client estimates, administrative support, client communications, personal tasks, and seasonal snow operations.
This is a dynamic position requiring adaptability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage both professional and personal responsibilities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accompany the owner to job sites to take notes during client estimates
- Draft and type construction estimates and proposals from field notes
- Communicate with clients to gather or clarify information regarding projects
- Maintain detailed and organized documentation of jobs and client interactions
- Schedule appointments, manage daily task lists, and assist with calendar organization
- Run errands (personal and business-related) as requested
- Perform light cleaning or organizational tasks as requested
- Support the owner in both business and personal matters to keep daily operations smooth
- Be available during snow events (including nights, weekends, holidays) to assist with snow plowing operations
- Handle tasks promptly, professionally, and with discretion
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Comfortable using mobile devices, tablets, and basic software for notes and estimates
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in all environments
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Willingness to work irregular hours, especially during the winter season
- Physically able to accompany the owner on job sites, including climbing ladders, being comfortable with heights and tight spaces.
- Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction, contracting, or estimating with willingness to learn
- Prior experience as a personal assistant
- Familiarity with snow plowing operations or willingness to learn
- Tech-savvy and able to adapt to mobile apps or estimating tools
Work Environment
- 80% field-based: at job sites, client properties, or on the road

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.65 - $16.00 per hour
