Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician 2- Medication History to join the team. This role will be full-time Monday – Friday, days/evenings rotating shifts. Every other weekend | Sign-on Bonus eligible.

Pharmacy Technician 2 J ob Responsibilities:
- Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies according to established policies.
- Accurately pre-packs medications and restocks code cart and stock kits.
- Restocks assigned areas, puts away unused medications in addition to utilizing want book and associated inventory management procedures.
- Orders items, properly stocks shelves, processes returns and identifies vendor errors.
- Accurately fills automated dispensing devices and unit dose pick, first doses and floor stock.
- Assists Pharmacist in drug selection and counting medications accurately.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Work schedule: 8-hour shift (days/evenings rotating shift. Every other weekend.)
- Education: High School or GED.
- Experience: One (1) year Pharmacy Technician experience . One (1) year IV training/experience required.
- Certification: Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Virginia or a Pharmacy intern license. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: Medication history experience.
