About the Opportunity
This field-based position offers a unique opportunity to work one-on-one with older adults in their homes, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities. You will be a key member of our mobile care team, providing phlebotomy and medical support services while ensuring a high standard of patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities

Blood Collection: Perform safe, precise venipunctures and capillary draws for lab testing in geriatric patients.

Sample Handling: Collect, label, and transport specimens (blood, urine, sputum, etc.) to labs including Quest Diagnostics and LabCorp.

Patient Interaction: Deliver warm, compassionate service while clearly explaining procedures to help reduce patient anxiety.

Clinical Testing: Administer basic diagnostic screenings as needed.

Infection Control: Maintain strict adherence to sanitation and safety protocols.

Equipment Management: Organize and maintain medical and phlebotomy equipment; ensure all sharps and waste are disposed of properly.
Requirements

Active and Valid Phlebotomy License – REQUIRED

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Phlebotomist working with geriatric patients – REQUIRED

Medical Assistant Diploma – Preferred

Experience working in mobile care, home health, or assisted living facilities is a plus

Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout San Jose and surrounding areas
