Position Type: Part-time
Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:45p-6p and some Wednesdays 12:45-6.
Compensation: starting at $16.50 per hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Education Youth Development Assistant to support the daily operations of our Auburn Clubhouse. This role involves engaging with youth in grades 1-6, facilitating activities, and creating a positive, inclusive, and safe environment where youth can develop confidence, leadership skills, and healthy habits. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build positive relationships with our youth members and serve as a mentor and role model.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment by enforcing Club policies and positive behavior expectations.
- Assist in organizing special events, guest speakers, and community service projects.
- Support youth in setting and achieving personal and academic goals.
- Collaborate with staff to create a welcoming and supportive space tailored to the needs of our members.
- Ensure the Clubhouse is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as attendance tracking and program reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in education, social work, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with youth in a recreational, educational, or community setting preferably with kids ages 5-12
- Ability to work in fast paced and dynamic work environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Valid Driver’s license with excellent record.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
