Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (Massage Experience Preferred) to join our contract-based, mobile care team serving the community of San Diego, CA.
At Everest Peak Home Healthcare, we deliver essential healthcare directly to patients' homes with a focus on excellence, empathy, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality in-home services as outlined by your scope (e.g., wound care, therapy, medication, evaluations).
- Travel to patient residences or facilities throughout San Diego, CA and surrounding areas.
- Document all care provided in line with HIPAA and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians, care coordinators, and administrative staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Educate patients and families on ongoing care and recovery.
Requirements:
- Active and valid license in California (LVN, RN, PTA, or MD depending on role).
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred (home health or mobile care ideal).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work independently in the field.
- CPR/BLS certification (current).
