Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic person to join our team as a physical therapy technician and patient coordinator. In this role, you will support the physical therapists in patient set up and maintaining an organized and clean environment for patient treatment. You will also assist the front office staff in answering phones and performing light clerical duties. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills and excellent customer service skills. We are looking for a person with a friendly and compassionate personality who has a desire in a career in physical therapy or working in a medical office with patients of all ages.
Duties
- Assist therapists with patient set up and office organization.
- Manage front desk responsibilities, including answering phones and scheduling appointments and tracking missed appointments.
- Willingness to learn and be proficient in current EMR software WEBPT.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience healthcare setting or working towards becoming a PT is preferred.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Must be energetic and ambitious to assist multiple therapist at a time.
- Professional appearance and etiquette required.
