Job Description:
As a Physician Development Representative, your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain strong relationships with referring physicians and influential community members. Your goal is to increase patient referrals to our practice by effectively communicating the benefits and unique services we offer. This role is crucial in expanding our patient base and enhancing our presence in the healthcare community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive relationships with referring physicians, healthcare providers, and key community influencers.
- Outreach Activities: Conduct regular visits to physicians’ offices, hospitals, clinics, and community events to promote our practice.
- Educational Presentations: Provide detailed information about our services, specialties, and patient care protocols to potential referral sources.
- Networking: Participate in healthcare forums, conferences, and community events to network and establish new contacts.
- Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from referring physicians and community members to understand their needs and improve our services.
- Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies tailored to the needs of referring physicians and the community.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed records of outreach activities and provide regular reports on progress and outcomes to management.
Qualifications:
Experience: Preferably a minimum of 2 years of experience in medical sales, pharmaceutical sales, or an outside sales role with proven results. Experience in physician development is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
