We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated Exterior Plant Technician to join our team. This role involves traveling between commercial customer locations to maintain outdoor plants, planters, and landscape decor. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, basic plant care knowledge, and enjoys working independently in various outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to assigned customer locations according to route schedule
- Water, prune, fertilize, and maintain exterior container plants and landscaping
- Inspect plants for pests, disease, or environmental stress and take appropriate corrective action
- Replace or rotate plants as needed to ensure high-quality presentation
- Clean and maintain plant containers, beds, and surrounding areas
- Accurately document services performed at each location via cell phone app
- Communicate with customers and office team as needed regarding plant health or site conditions
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies
- Maintain company equipment in clean and functional condition
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and Personal Vehicle required
- Previous plant care or landscaping experience preferred (paid training available)
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions year round
- Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs, walking, and standing for extended periods
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
