Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curricula that promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a safe and respectful atmosphere.
- Provide individualized support to children with special needs through early intervention strategies.
- Assess children's progress through standardized testing and informal assessments to inform instruction.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices.
- Incorporate literacy, math, and physical education into daily activities to promote holistic development.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom or daycare setting.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective teaching strategies.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Experience in behavior management techniques and classroom management practices.
- A commitment to child welfare and creating a safe learning environment for all students.
- Spanish Speaking is a plus

Pay: $30,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
