About the Position
The Principal Enterprise Sales Executive develops and executes annual sales plan, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and nurturing relationships with key clients and closing new business opportunities within enterprise accounts, to achieve annual revenue targets. The individual works closely with prospects to understand their business needs and to demonstrate how our SaaS platform and associated services is able to help them achieve their goals. In addition, the Principal Enterprise Sales Executive works collaboratively with our Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure that our clients receive the best experience with the University.
What You’ll Do:
1. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets for the University’s SaaS platform and associated services.
2. Identify, prospect, and qualify new enterprise opportunities and develop relationships with key decision-makers; build and maintain a sales pipeline and manage the sales process from lead generation to close; negotiate contracts and close deals with enterprise clients.
3. Understand clients’ business needs and demonstrate how our SaaS platform and associated services are able to address their pain points and drive business outcomes; provide effective solutions for talent acquisition and development.
4. Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure customer success, including customer success managers, marketing, and product teams.
5. Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations that effectively communicate our value proposition and align with the clients’ business goals; communicate complex solution concepts in simple terms conveying to diverse audiences a compelling vision delivered both in written and presentation forms.
6. Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Seven (7) years of experience in enterprise sales, preferably with SaaS solutions and associated services OR in a management consulting environment
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex customer requirements
- Experience working with enterprise clients and ability to develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers
- Ability to navigate complex/hierarchical organizations to build a network of stakeholders and ultimately reach decisions makers
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with clients and key stakeholders

The annual pay range for this position is $98,000 (minimum), $148,100 (midpoint), and $198,200 (maximum).*
- Typical hiring range is between the minimum and midpoint of the above pay range. Actual starting base pay may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, location and budget.
