Job Overview
We are looking for a focused and detail-oriented Product Hunter to join our e-commerce team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching and identifying high-demand car and truck parts across Amazon and eBay in Canada and the USA. You’ll play a key role in guiding product sourcing and sales strategies by providing structured, data-driven insights.
Responsibilities (Scope of Work)
- Find Popular Brands in the automotive parts category
- Identify Popular Models under each brand
- Determine which parts are selling fast for these models
- List parts under each model with correct part numbers
- Collect sales data for each part over:
- 3 months - 6 months - 1 year
- Include a picture of each product
- Create a general list of products that have the same fitment across multiple models/equipment
- This list should be separate and kept simple and easy to understand
Requirements
- Experience with Amazon and/or eBay product research
- Strong knowledge or interest in automotive parts (car and truck)
- Proficiency in tools like Excel or Google Sheets
- Good understanding of vehicle fitment compatibility
- Ability to gather, organize, and present data clearly
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
