Production and Rework Technician
Job Description
Temp to hire Location: Jacksonville, FL
Responsibilities:
- To learn the operation of multiple workstations to meet production and rework goals; including, but not limited to:
- Perform complete product assembly and final detailing.Tasked with the assembly of products consisting of multiple electrical, mechanical, and plastic parts.
- Rework assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.Tasked with performing post-manufacture modifications in accordance with engineering documentation.
- Accurately and efficiently tests a variety of products, ranging in complexity to achieve quality goals.Tasked with the QA of assembled products consisting multiple electrical, mechanical, and plastic parts.
Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
- Accurately and efficiently download & configure a variety of initial applications and system settings.Tasked with the installation of system core configurations and applications.
- Efficiently assemble product packages and place various products, accessories, and materials into product packaging.
- Actively contributes to LEAN initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Maintain, manage, track, and log production tasks assigned at workstation and responsible work area.
- Follow spoken and written instructions from supervisors and lead technicians.
- Maintain high levels of ethical standards to protect customer data and property.
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
- Perform all work in accordance with company's production specification and established operation procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Be able to read, interpret, understand, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, specifications, bills of materials, testing software on-screen prompts & instructions, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble, test, and operate equipment and products.
Be able to utilize production and maintenance tools and equipment such as proprietary manufacturing system (training provided), electric screwdriver, compressed air system, ionizing
- air gun, torque gauge/tester, testing system & equipment (training provided), label printer, electric scale, scanner, digital calipers, pallet jacks, Windows PC, etc.

- Ability to clearly and professionally communicate verbally and in writing.
- A desire to learn, and the ability to listen and ask questions.
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Ability to adapt to changes in workflow and shifts in priority.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, kneel, lift, pull, push, sit, stand, stoop.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
- MS Office Suite Proficiency.
- Windows OS Proficiency.
- Recent line assembly experience preferred.
Working Hours:
- Working hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Monday-Friday with a daily one-hour lunch break.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
