Builtech is currently seeking a Project Accountant ready to join our fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly billings.
- Review subcontractor pay requests and subcontractor waivers for accuracy and completion.
- Maintain project-related records, including contracts and change orders.
- Participate in the routing of subcontracts and certificates of insurance.
- Work with internal project management personnel.
- Communicate effectively with Project Managers, subcontractors, title companies, and owners.
- Work with General Accountant for A/P and A/R related to jobs.
- Assist Controller with project accounting related projects.
Requirements:
- Project Accounting background with Associates/Bachelor?s degree in Accounting
- 1 - 5 years of experience in Project Accounting

- Strong Microsoft Excel, Adobe Pro skills
- Experience working with software programs such as Sage 300 and electronic signature software
- Experience working on special projects
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work with various levels of people within the company as well as with external parties
- Experience in developing and understanding financial internal controls
- Valid drivers license
