This is a hybrid position
The Project Control Analyst will be responsible for all project control functions, including planning, tracking, analysis and reporting across the project life cycle. This individual will be integral to the financial and schedule management of our government desktop service support projects. This role ensures projects remain on budget and schedule, directly supporting the efficient delivery of vital IT services to federal agencies.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop, maintain, and analyze project scope, schedules, and budgets for the Government Desktop Service Support contract.
- Monitor project performance against baselines, identifying variances and potential risks providing recommended tradeoffs, options, and mitigation actions.
- Prepare financial reports, expenditure forecasts, and cost-to-complete analyses to support project decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and government regulations for project financial management developing work breakdown structures (WBS), estimated costs, estimates at completion analyzing data and schedules for slack, delays, and options for improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers and technical leads to provide accurate and timely project status updates and recommendations.
- Support the development of proposals and new business opportunities by providing scope, cost, and schedule estimates.
- Prepares portions of program review presentations and participates in briefing the customer, and other stakeholders; interface with members of Finance, Program Management, Contracts, Pricing, Procurement, and Accounts Receivable Department to track and brief status to stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a relevant field.
- 3+ years of experience in project control or financial analysis.
- Experience with project control software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Deltek Cobra).
- Understanding of government contracting and financial regulations (e.g., FAR, CAS).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information.
Clearance Requirements:
- Ability to obtain an active Secret Clearance
- Must be able to obtain a DHS Suitability
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $67,300.00-$111,900.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
