Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects by coordinating various aspects of project management. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate project progress and ensure that deadlines are met.
Duties
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules using tools such as Primavera and HeavyBid.
- Coordinate project documentation, including plans, schematics, and estimates using software like Bluebeam and Prolog.
- Support project management in tracking project milestones and deliverables.
- Organize meetings with stakeholders to discuss project status, challenges, and solutions.
- Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations on construction sites.
- Facilitate communication between team members, subcontractors, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities and changes.
Experience
- Proven experience in project coordination or management within the construction industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Primavera or HeavyBid is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of construction site operations and safety protocols.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with diverse teams.
- Experience working with schematics and technical documents is beneficial.
