Summary
We are representing a reputable general contractor actively seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager with a strong background in multifamily developments. This position will manage podium, wrap, and garden-style apartment projects and is ideal for someone with deep technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and a drive for execution. The ideal candidate will oversee the full project lifecycle and maintain communication across stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, scopes of work, and procurement
- Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure alignment on design and construction goals
- Lead subcontractor bidding, selection, contracting, and performance tracking
- Conduct regular coordination meetings with field staff and internal office teams
- Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and monthly billing for accuracy and timeliness
- Monitor jobsite safety, quality assurance, and compliance with all jurisdictional requirements
- Provide progress updates and reports to executive leadership
- Ensure proper project closeout and turnover documentation
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager in multifamily construction
- Proven background in podium, wrap, and garden-style developments
- Experience with Type III and Type V construction methods
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field (preferred)
- Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and related tools
- OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
- Strong communication, team leadership, and financial management skills
