Introduction

We are building advanced systems leveraging Java, AWS Cloud, Postgres, Spring, and REACT technologies to solve complex national security challenges. We are also pioneering GenAI application development and test automation, and need innovative engineers ready to deliver secure, scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Job Responsibilities
This role requires a strong understanding of public sector processes, procurement regulations, and IT governance frameworks. The IT Project Manager works collaboratively with internal departments, external vendors, and oversight bodies to ensure successful delivery and transparency throughout the project.
- Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects such as system implementations, infrastructure upgrades, application development, or cybersecurity enhancements.
- Ensure projects align with agency goals, state/federal mandates, and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP).
- Develop project charters, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and performance metrics.
- Manage procurement processes, including writing RFPs/RFIs, evaluating proposals, and working with contracts and legal teams.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and financials; provide regular status reports to stakeholders, agency leadership, and oversight bodies.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams composed of internal staff, contractors, and external vendors.
- Mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans in compliance with agency protocols.
- Lead project meetings, including steering committees, technical reviews, and vendor check-ins.
- Ensure adherence to agency cybersecurity, privacy, and records management policies.
- Participate in post-implementation reviews and lessons-learned sessions to inform future projects.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship (due to contract requirements)
- Secret Clearance Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Public Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing IT projects in a government or regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of government procurement processes and contract management.
- Demonstrated experience with PM tools such as MS Project or equivalent.
- Familiarity with public sector governance frameworks such as NIST, FISMA, or ITIL.
- PMP or Agile/Scrum certification preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a matrixed environment.
- Ability to navigate the federal acquisition and procurement process
