Project Manager- Print & Packaging at LPI in New Berlin, WI
As an S. Walter Packaging Group Company, LPI provides: Offset printing, Foil Stamping, Embossing, Digital Enhancement, Die Cutting, Folding and Gluing, Rigid Box manufacturing, and Fulfillment. This is an On-Site position at our New Berlin, WI facility.
We are seeking a high-energy, experienced Project Manager to join our team at LPI, Letterhead Press LLC, a leading provider in the print, packaging, and finishing industry. This role is critical to the success of our customer relationships and production workflow. Acting as the primary point of contact for our clients, the Project Manager will oversee all phases of a project — from initial concept through final delivery — ensuring excellence in execution, customer satisfaction, and on-time performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main liaison between customers and internal departments (prepress, production, finishing, shipping).
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of print and packaging projects, including planning, scheduling, proofing, approvals, production, and delivery.
- Ensure all customer expectations and specifications are clearly understood, documented, and met.
- Develop detailed project timelines, monitor progress, and proactively identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure capacity, resources, and materials are aligned with project schedules.
- Maintain frequent communication with customers to provide updates, gather feedback, and manage changes or scope adjustments.
- Drive multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and focus on deadlines and deliverables.
- Uphold quality standards, ensuring all final products meet or exceed client expectations.
- Continuously look for ways to improve workflow efficiency and customer experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Graphic Arts, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of proven experience in project management within the print and finishing industry.
- Deep understanding of printing processes, substrates, packaging structures, and finishing techniques.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities simultaneously.
- A self-starter with a high level of energy, drive, and accountability.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ERP/MIS systems used in print/packaging production.
- Familiarity with artwork file preparation, proofing workflows, and quality control standards in print.
