Job Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for the daily coordination and management of on-site activities for residential high-performance building and remodeling projects. This role is proficient in quality, scheduling, and communication. This role require organization, and communication skills to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Managers ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will have multiple years in residential construction with a carpentry focus. They will have deep understanding of residential construction, able to read blueprints, familiar with architectural and engineering concepts, comfortable with construction PM software, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: 5+ years in high-end residential construction.
- Is able to develop, monitor, and implement a critical path for each project and task and effectively assign crew members to complete it.
- Has a good understanding of all trades involved in construction, their responsibilities and the sequence of their involvement.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of high-performance building techniques, framing, finish carpentry, and energy-efficient construction. Ability to read construction documents and follow layout.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with construction project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications: OSHA 30, Will be required to attain CPHB certification.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
