Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to pediatric patients in a private practice settings.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health status and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and therapists, to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing acute psychiatric episodes.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Monitor and document patients' progress, including any changes in symptoms or behaviors.
- Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment for patients.
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license and certification as a psychiatric nurse.
- Masters degree in nursing
- Experience working in psychiatric or mental health settings.
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications, treatments, and interventions.
- Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in patient care.
