Job Description: After-School Soccer Academy Leader (1st-4th Grade)
California International School, a STEAM-focused institution in Rocklin, California, is seeking an enthusiastic and creative educator to lead a weekly after-school soccer academy teaching soccer skills and hosting scrimmages for our elementary students. The academy will take place on our campus after school.
Day/Time: Academies run once time per week (3:30-4:30) from the week of September 20th-November 10th. The day of the week is flexible and can be determined around the teachers availbility.
Hours: Approx. 2.5 hours per week (1 hour of teaching and the 1.5 prep/set up/clean up)
Pay: $25-$30 per hour
Ideal Candidate:
This is an excellent opportunity for a college student who has played or coached young children in soccer skills in the past.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate soccer skills activities for elementary students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Supervise and ensure the safety of students during activities.
- Inspire young learners to explore and enjoy soccer!
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of soccer; experience with young children (1st-4th grade) is a plus.
- Passion for sports!
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
