This position is a part-time, temporary position filled each semester on an as-needed basis.
Major Responsibilities include:
- Maintain a safe lab environment
- Maintain lab equipment (3D printers, Desktop Printer, Large Plotter, Laser Cutters)
- Assist students in the operation of equipment and lab activities
- Lab projects
- Maintain logs
- Maintain materials
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma required; good communication skills; ability to work independently
- Familiarity with Design Projects
- Familiarity with 3D printing
- Familiarity with printing
- Basic CAD knowledge (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Fusion 360
- Basic troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with 3D printing, including changing settings and experimenting with different techniques
- Experience with editing printing settings
- Advanced CAD knowledge (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Fusion 360
