Public Allies Central Florida Apprenticeship
Who We Are
Public Allies’ mission is to create a just and equitable society and the diverse leadership to sustain it.
Through our signature AmeriCorps program, Public Allies identifies talented emerging leaders from all backgrounds and prepares them for careers working towards community improvement. In our 10-month apprenticeship program you will work full-time for a non-profit or civic organization addressing critical community issues. You will also develop your own interpersonal skills through regular leadership training delivered by local leaders.
You’ll gain valuable leadership skills, receive personalized coaching to pursue your career goals, build relationships with a large network of local leaders, and participate in a national movement of leaders working for change.
We anticipate having 22-25 positions available. Apprenticeships typically start in September and last for ten months from the start date. Interviews begin in May and continue through July. Visit our webpage at https://publicallies.org/ally-application to learn more about us.
Program Benefits

Successful Candidates
Public Allies Central Florida is searching for people who have a strong desire to give back to their community, have a passion for community improvement and want to work towards making change happen in their communities. We believe that by encouraging collaboration among individuals with different perspectives, we can make a difference in our communities. Ideal candidates will welcome the opportunity to learn and grow, have a servant heart (desire to help others), and be open to learning from and working with individuals from all backgrounds and experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
18 years of age or older
Commit to a 10-month full-time term of service
Live in Central Florida

As we will have up to 25 positions available, the physical requirements for each may vary. Physical requirements for specific positions will be disclosed to candidates as part of the recruitment process, and reasonable accommodation will be made if/where needed.
