We are currently recruiting enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about technology, enjoy working with children and love learning. The ideal candidate for our program has a positive mental attitude, strong confidence in their ability, excitement at the prospect of learning new things and a strong desire to impact kids’ lives in a fun and enriching way! Coaches have an extremely valuable role in the Code Wiz family. Our coaches are here to guide and inspire our students so knowledge of coding plus a positive mental attitude are essential!
All training will be provided. High School and College students with a passion for coding are encouraged to apply!
This is a part time or contract position with approximately 4 - 12 hours per week initially.
Specific Job Responsibilities● help create new curriculum that is tailored to students individual needs
● Use the curriculum to teach and lead children in their lessons and projects
● Come up with creative ideas that kids could implement in their projects
● Be able to respond to parent questions about child progress
● Maintain a high quality of team performance and job satisfaction
● Train new coaches as needed
Skills Required
● Some experience working with kids in a camp, tutoring, child care or after school program
●Interest and background in ONE of the following fields is a MUST:
- programming in Python, Java, Unity (C#), and Roblox Game Development, Unreal, Godot, MCreator(Minecraft) , Robotics -FTC, FRC, FLL, 3D modeling, CAD
● Charisma and the ability to function independently

Job Type: Part-time
Pay Range: $16 to $18 hourly
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- After school
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- Day Camps as needed
