Quality Control - 1st and 2nd Shift

-2nd Shift starting at $18.50/hour
Summary
Test and inspect products at various stages of production process and compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain food quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities
- Collect the production paperwork.
- Verify the production room has been sanitized and swabbed.
- Select products for tests at specified stages in production process, and test products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance and chemical characteristics.
- Record test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
- Recommend modifications of existing food quality or production standards to achieve optimum food quality within limits of equipment capability.
- Assure compliance to all applicable regulatory agencies including USDA, FDA, Bureau of Weights and Measures, State, and Local regulations.
- Maintain current HACCP plan of both USDA and FDA products.
Requirements
- One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred (food processing, food safety, quality control).
- Attention to detail.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Computer and data entry knowledge.
- Dependability, punctuality, and adaptability.
- Initiative, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities.
