Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assembly Inspector to join our team and ensure exceptional product quality at every stage of the manufacturing process. This role includes hands-on inspection duties and the guidance of production teams to maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify the quality of in-process production by checking specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and coordinating necessary adjustments with production staff.
  • Ensure consistent production of quality parts by identifying defects and trends in poor workmanship during inspections.
  • Perform inspections for production, rework, and first article assembly, along with required documentation.
  • Approve finished products by comparing them against specifications, conducting visual inspections, and taking precise measurements.
  • Manage product rework processes, ensuring effective rework and complete work documentation.
  • Initiate deviations and non-conformance reports (NCRs), ensuring accurate documentation and filing.
  • Provide feedback and assist in analyzing quality data, offering suggestions for resolving quality issues.
  • Assess the quality of incoming materials by confirming specifications and rejecting unacceptable materials.
  • Contribute to team efforts by performing additional tasks as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Valid or recently expired certification to IPC-A-610 is required.
  • Experience in electronic PCBA manufacturing is preferred.
  • Prior quality inspection experience is advantageous.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using computers, Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel), and ERP systems is preferred.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit or stand at workstations for extended periods.
  • Capability to perform desk and computer work for extended durations.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
