We're currently hiring a CDL Rear-Load Driver for our St. Louis Park Operations and offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified drivers! The Rear-Load Driver is responsible for safely operating a rear-load collection truck to provide waste and recycling collection services for residential, commercial, and industrial customers in the St. Louis Park area. This position is part of a team of 2 drivers. This position involves driving, operating collection equipment, safely loading material, and ensuring timely service completion in accordance with company, local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a rear-load refuse collection truck along assigned routes.
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, completing inspection reports as required.
- Collect and transport waste, recycling, and organics from customer sites, following proper lifting techniques and ensuring material is securely loaded.
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and route supervisors regarding service issues, delays, or safety concerns.
- Navigate routes using company-provided devices or route sheets, adapting to changes in traffic, road closures, or weather.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicle, including cab and body.
- Report any mechanical or safety issues to the maintenance team promptly.
- Assist with container repairs or replacements as needed.
- Complete required documentation including logs, customer tickets, and service records accurately.
- Represent the company professionally through courteous interaction with customers and the public.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement (Class A preferred).
- Clean driving record meeting company and DOT standards.
- Previous experience driving rear-load, side-load, or front-load trucks preferred.
- Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly and maneuver loaded carts or containers.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and local traffic laws.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
