Employee will be responsible for the safe and efficient process of all warehouse duties. Duties include the receiving/shipping of all in-bound and out-bound materials and packages. The employee will also comply with The Popcorn Factory policies and procedures.
SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS: Monday—Friday, 1st Shift 6:00 am - 2:00 pm (Extended hours and some Saturdays maybe required, during Peak Season)
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate schedules with carriers and overseeing the inbound items to ensure that it meets our Inbound requirements.
- Unload merchandise form delivery trucks and verify the accuracy of shipment contents against purchase orders
- Inspect incoming goods for damaged or discrepancies and report any issues to appropriate department for resolution
- Utilize warehouse management system to accurately record and track inventory as it is received and stored in the facility.
- Label and allocate received items to their designated storage areas
- Coordinate with the purchasing department to reconcile, order quantities and resolve any discrepancies in shipments
- Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports of all receiving activities, including discrepancies, damages and inventory levels.
- Operate forklifts pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment to safely move heavy merchandise as required.
- Handling packages, reviewing contents, and delivering products to the correct department Assist fellow team members where needed.
- Ensure the health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment.
- Ensure that procedures are properly followed, and good communication is implemented with other departments involved in the process.
Complexity: A variety of duties involving equipment, people, and information. Must have the ability to work under pressure, keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, work as part of a team, and perform without constant direction. Must be able to effectively manage a multiplicity of tasks.
Working Conditions: Most of the time spent in warehouse. Warehouse environment includes proximity to moving parts, and dense material storage.
While performing duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, use hands to handle keyboards and controls, and talk or hear. The associate is required to reach with hands and arms. The associate may be required to lift- up to 75 pounds.
This position requires the ability to understand, follow, and teach others safety policy, procedures, and regulations.
This position requires the associate to follow appropriate GMP's, and equipment specific procedures, and follow FIFO/FEFO procedures for finished goods.
- This position requires the associate to follow appropriate allergen guidelines and policies, record product traceability data where appropriate, and communicate all food safety and quality issues to QA personnel.
The expected salary range for this position is $18.50/hour. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High-school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Computer and data entry skills (Microsoft Excel)
- Good written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual is a plus (Spanish)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Shipping/Warehousing
- FLO experience (Stand Up)
- RF scanning equipment and best practices
- Eye for detail and accuracy
- Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds regularly
