Job Summary:
Assured Services Inc. is seeking a highly organized, professional, and detail-oriented Receptionist with Bookkeeping Experience to join our growing team in the Montgomery Area. In this hybrid role, you'll be the welcoming first point of contact for our clients, ensuring smooth administrative operations while also providing essential support to our accounting functions. Your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain a friendly demeanor will be key to your success.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and courteously.
- Manage and maintain accurate appointment schedules and staff calendars.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and faxes.
- Perform accurate data entry for various administrative and financial records.
- Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, including processing accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and reconciling statements.
- Prepare and process expense reports.
- Order and maintain office supplies, ensuring the reception area is tidy and presentable.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks as needed to ensure efficient office operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or higher in a business-related field is a plus.
- Proven experience (2+ years preferred) as a receptionist or in a similar administrative support role.
- Demonstrated experience with basic bookkeeping tasks and experience in QuickBooks is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with an exceptional eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Professional demeanor with outstanding customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
