Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gymnastics and experience working with children. This role involves teaching gymnastics skills, promoting physical fitness, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students. The Gymnastics Coach will work closely with students of various skill levels, helping them to develop their abilities while fostering a love for the sport.
Responsibilities
- Instruct students in gymnastics techniques and routines, ensuring proper form and safety practices.
- Develop lesson plans that cater to the varying skill levels of students.
- Monitor students during practice sessions to provide feedback and encouragement.
- Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Organize and lead warm-up exercises and cool-down activities.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to plan events, competitions, and showcases.
- Maintain equipment and ensure the gym area is clean and safe for all participants.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and any concerns.
Skills
- Strong background in gymnastics or related disciplines such as cheerleading or judo.
- Experience working with children in a coaching or educational capacity.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to effectively engage students.
- Ability to climb, swim, or perform physical activities relevant to gymnastics training.
- Familiarity with health club environments is a plus.
- Lifeguard certification is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with students, parents, and team members.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
