Medical Referral Assistant Manager Role

You'll play a vital role in ensuring appointments are scheduled seamlessly while navigating insurance requirements with ease.
What You'll Be Doing
- Helping Patients: Reach out to clients to set up appointments and ensure they're well-prepared for visits.
- Organizing Details: Verify patient information, medical history, and insurance coverage for appointments.
- Supporting Physicians: Share important patient background details with doctors and keep accurate records of schedules and referrals.
- Team Collaboration: Address questions from patients, doctors, and insurance companies while assisting new referral coordinators with training.
- Administrative Excellence: Manage tasks independently, juggle priorities, and maintain patient privacy in line with HIPAA regulations.
What You’ll Need
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is a must.
- Experience: At least four years in a medical office or insurance-related role—or a mix of education and experience.
- Communication: The ability to confidently read, write, and speak with clients and colleagues.
- Tech Skills: You should be comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
