Remote Assistant Superintendent (with travel to work sites)
Job Summary
An Assistant Superintendent works closely with the Superintendent to help manage a job site. Key responsibilities include assisting the superintendent by helping to manage schedules, budgets, and supervising workers. A successful Assistant Superintendent must have solid communication skills and work well with others.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Construction Superintendent with all construction activities.
- Assist with direction for field personnel.
- Help build and maintain schedules, identify problems, and provide solutions.
- Assists with the preparation of and filing of reports.
- Keep the Construction Superintendent updated on the performance of subcontractor personnel, amount of work accomplished and if the subcontractor is on schedule.
- Handle projects in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and positive.
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- US Citizen and reside in United States
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction-related work
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Team player
- Time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Work Environment
- Office computers and equipment, mobile phone, radios, Microsoft Office suite of tools, Web Based Applications, electronic spreadsheets, and reporting, virtual data sharing platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, etc.) and other forms of work-sharing tools.
- Construction or office setting, must have the ability to crawl, climb, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, stand for longs periods of time, lift and hold up to 50 lbs., talk, hear and sit.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site to view construction activity in all types of weather. Subject to hot, cold, humid, and wet conditions depending on location.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other business machines. Use hands to finger, handle, and feel.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk varying distances. At times climb ladders or pick up materials.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
