Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating process. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
- Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Assist in guest relations by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for reservations and seating management.
- Provide support during peak hours to enhance guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous host/host or food service experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proper phone etiquette.
- Familiarity with POS systems (SPOT ON) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in restaurants or hotels is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.65 - $23.66 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
