Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and safety-focused Carousel Operator to manage the daily operations of our classic carousel ride. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and families, maintains a friendly attitude, and ensures the ride operates smoothly, safely, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate the carousel safely and in accordance with company procedures and local regulations.
* Assist guests in boarding and exiting the ride safely.
* Monitor the ride and guests during operation to ensure safety rules are followed.
* Perform daily safety inspections and notify maintenance of any issues.
* Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
* Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the ride area.
* Respond calmly and effectively to any emergencies or guest concerns.
* Enforce all ride safety rules and height/weight requirements.
* Handle tokens, tickets, or payments (if applicable).
Qualifications:
* Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
* Must be at least 18 years old
* Previous experience in customer service or amusement park operations is a plus.
* Ability to remain alert, attentive, and friendly in a busy, noisy environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to stand for long periods and perform light physical tasks (e.g., opening gates, assisting riders).
* Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
