Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the perioperative department, ensuring high standards in clinical quality and patient care.
- Supervise and mentor OR nursing staff; foster a collaborative and accountable environment.
- Support physician relationships and patient satisfaction initiatives.
- Implement and maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in budget planning, supply management, and operational efficiency.
- Serve as a liaison between perioperative services and other hospital departments.
- Support professional development and performance evaluation of staff.
- Maintain a growth-oriented mindset and collaborate with leadership on continuous improvement strategies.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
- 5–7 years of OR (Perioperative) nursing experience required.
- Prior management or leadership experience is a strong plus.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a team-oriented environment.
Note: Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of stability per hospital. Travel and contract nurses will not be considered.
