Qualifications
CHI Oakes Hospital, is a 20-bed critical access hospital that provides various inpatient and outpatient services to approximately 14,000 people in southeastern North Dakota. It is also a 24-Hour Emergency Level V Trauma Center. The hospital building was newly-constructed in 2007, replacing a 50-year old building, and in 2010, Oakes Community Clinic was opened within the hospital building. The hospital is part of a larger values-based organization, CommonSpirit Health.
Pay Range
$34.00 - $50.58 /hour

What You'll Do as a Med Surg RN at CHI Oakes Hospital:
- Provide direct patient care on our medical-surgical unit, encompassing a wide range of diagnoses and conditions.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and utilize advanced nursing skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognize changes, and intervene appropriately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing assistants, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, discharge planning, and medication adherence.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.
- Champion patient safety and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of North Dakota (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- Current BLS certification issued by American Heart Association.
- Current ACLS certification.
- PALS or must be obtained within six (6) months of hire.
