Central Bank is currently looking for a qualified individual to fill the role of Safe Deposit Attendant. The Safe Deposit Attendant works in a professional, fun environment with opportunities for advancement. The candidate should demonstrate professionalism, efficiency and excellent customer service when interacting with customers. Greet all customers as they enter the branch in a friendly, positive manner escorting them as needed to the appropriate area. Provide Legendary Service at all times.Assist customers with access into the Safe Deposit area; consisting of opening and closing safe deposit boxes.
Maintain accurate Safe Deposit leases; new, closed or updated leases.
Accurate reporting on the Safe Deposit Box System including billing, accepting payments and auditing the safe deposit boxes.
Cross-trained support on customer service/teller functions to enhance the customer service level provided.
Recognize customer needs and cross-sell bank products/services ensuring recommendations are customer centric to meet the needs of the customer. Make referrals to other lines of business for traditional and non-traditional products and services.
Perform all functions in accordance with established bank policies, procedures and regulations.
Other duties as required. Qualifications High School Diploma
Basic customer service experience preferred
Basic math skills, PC and typing skills and the ability to count U.S. currency
Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Organized and able to multi-task multiple functions
Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance
Must be flexible to work scheduled hours as needed, including but not limited to rotating Saturdays
Strong customer relations skills and ability to communicate and work well with employees and customers in a cooperative, positive manner including professional phone skills
