Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Inspecting facilities, equipment, and operations to identify potential safety hazards
- Providing safety training to employees and management on a regular basis
- Investigating accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop corrective action plans
- Actively participating in carrying out safety tours as requested
- Providing/developing technical safety training
- Assessing safety and health program performance
- Conducting daily safety walk-thru inspections of manufacturing areas
- Managing documentation and reporting of safety-related records and materials
- Keeping up-to-date with new safety regulations and best practices
- Help the team handle the daily activities in the factory during assembly and disassembly of equipment, safety concerns, and questions, etc.
- Provide more personalized attention to each employee as well as the customers needs.
- Improves the overall experience and safety needs. By supporting our mission in maintaining a health and safety environment.
- Increase our customers loyalty by having a strong safety team.
- Help and improvement with oversight, production and training for everything related to safety.
- must identify gaps in the safety management system, which includes training, leadership and required programs. Also, Safety personnel would be responsible for identifying hazards and confirming that proper risk control measures are understood and followed.
- SAY- must provide guidance on how, when, and why to meet safety expectations. Safety personnel also must make corrections when necessary and communicate what has gone well to workers and management.
- SUPPORT- will be able to support each aspect of the safety team, particularly the workers, to ensure a safe working environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Eligible to work in the U.S
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Experience developing and implementing safety policies and procedures
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or OSHA or other safety-related certification preferred
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications: (but not required)
- Bilingual in Korean
Working Environment & Physical Activities:
This position will be working primarily indoors. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
