Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service and support throughout their shopping experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately.
- Assist in merchandising products to create attractive displays that enhance sales.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on features and benefits.
- Maintain stock levels by restocking shelves and managing inventory effectively.
- Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling and security procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom areas.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective customer interaction.

- Basic math skills are required for cash handling and retail math tasks.
