COMPANY DESCRIPTION: Texana Bank NA has been in business for over 110 years. We are a well-capitalized federally chartered community bank with headquarters in Texas and mortgage operations in multiple states nationwide - including Denver Colorado. As a federally chartered institution, we and our loan officers are licensed to originate mortgages in all 50 states. As a federally chartered bank, we have a strong ability to level capital resources to fund loans without the need of a warehouse bank or lines of credit.
JOB DESCRIPTION: We are actively seeking a recruiter/sales trainer for our Northeast Denver based branch. We are looking to grow our staff level significantly over the next several years and need this function in house. You will help us find, interview, hire, board and train a growing team of mortgage loan officers.
We are looking for people who are bright, energetic and collaborative. The person in this position will need to be outgoing and like to communicate but also be an efficient multi tasker. You will have some project management skills combined with emotional intelligence and ability to assess other people’s fit with our organization..
JOB SUMMARY: You will be looking for ways to reach talented individuals, monitoring and reviewing resumes as they come in. You will do the initial screening calls and set up interviews for the leadership team. Once an offer is made you will project manage the candidates through the onboarding process. Once they are on board, you will work with our training material (potentially developing some yourself) and oversee the progress of the new hires as they become loan officers over 90 days.
We are seeking candidates with demonstrated work ethic, a lot of drive and ambition and are highly organized and process oriented. Previous recruiting experience is valued but not required.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Demonstrated hustle and drive in a recruiting, customer service or sales oriented job preferrred
- Solid understanding of new technology and systems, ability to learn quickly
- Ethical practices and attitude
- Proficiency in MS Office software

COMPENSATION: You will earn $21/hour plus a per hire bonuses and an override on production for trainees – our goal for our Sales Recruiter & Trainer is between $48,000 to $75,000 annually.
