Office Specialists operates as a division of Advanced Business Systems, a locally owned and managed company that has proudly served Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois for over 40 years. With a knowledgeable team specializing in print solutions, IT services, office furniture, and office supplies, ABS provides a comprehensive office solution to its customers.
ABS is seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to join our team in Galesburg, IL. This role involves developing new sales opportunities while maintaining exceptional customer service for our clients. Ideal candidates will be highly energetic, customer service-oriented, and driven to achieve and surpass goals for success in this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee customer accounts while ensuring top-tier customer service.
- Manage the sales cycle, including initiating outreach and scheduling meetings with prospective clients.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, actively managing and growing accounts.
- Assess each customer's sales needs and offer practical, results-driven solutions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 1+ years of office equipment, office furniture, or office supplies sales experience preferred
- Prospecting experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Highly effective oral and written communication skills
- Must have a positive, enthusiastic, and competitive attitude
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to measure and analyze an office space
