The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, established in 1885, consists of 16 branches and 1 destination camp - all dedicated to building healthy, confident, connected, and secure children, adults, families, and communities. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Salesforce Administrator to join our team onsite at our Corporate Office.
Reporting directly to the Director of Information Technology, this role is pivotal in ensuring the optimal performance and integrity of our Salesforce CRM and its integrated systems. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for maintaining data accuracy, configuring system settings, developing reports and dashboards, and providing exceptional user support. This position requires strong collaboration across departments to enhance customer engagement and support strategic business growth.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage user access and permissions within the CRM system
- Perform data cleansing and deduplication to maintain data accuracy
- Configure customer fields workflows and automation rules based on business requirements
- Implement system updates and upgrades as needed
- Monitor CRM backups
- Import and export customer data from various sources and platforms
- Monitor data quality and identify areas for improvement
- Work with teams like Business Services, Marketing, and Fundraising to align data systems usage with business objectives
- Integrate CRM with other business applications and platforms as needed
- Assess the impact of new requirements on CRM and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through CRM optimization
- Provide technical support as needed
- Work with Data Analyst and other Association team members to transform information into insights, creating custom reporting and dashboards to track KPIs
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS (Minimum Required):
- Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years related experience
- Salesforce Administrator Certification
- Strong understanding of CRM principles and best practices
- Experience Supporting Membership Management Systems
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Technical skills in data manipulation, system configuration, and basic troubleshooting
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Self-starter, able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to travel locally, when needed, to YMCA locations in the area
