SCHOOL LIBRARY MEDIA SPECIALIST
Position to Start on or about September 1, 2025
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Valid New Jersey School Library Media Specialist Certificate or eligibility.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of Media Specialist responsibilities.
3. Ability to work with other professionals in a team environment for the benefit of our students.
4. Knowledge/experience of using technology in the media center and/or classroom.
5. Ability to develop and maintain a positive learning environment.
6. Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
7. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
REPORTS TO: PRINCIPAL OR DESIGNATED SUPERVISOR
JOB GOAL: To provide an approved education program and establish a class environment that fosters learning and personal growth; to help pupils to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for continued education; and to maintain good relationships with parents and other staff members.
SALARY: In accordance with the BREA Negotiated Agreement
