Job Description

As a Security Officer - Warehouse Site - Overnight Shift in Waddell, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in access control, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine checks, and remaining highly visible to support a secure atmosphere. You will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, assisting with inquiries and responding to situations as they arise. This position requires driving as part of your duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution environment.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for logistics and distribution settings.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns and identify any unusual activity.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site-specific policies.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel to provide assistance and information as needed.
• Support Allied Universal management and site leadership by following all company and client policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• A Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
