Job Description:
We are seeking a Security Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Palm Beach team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. Responsibilities will include taking food and beverage orders, retrieving and serving alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and food order to guest tables according to Forbes Standards. This role will include collecting payments and also assisting in the daily cleanliness of the restaurant area.
This position is an A.M. position, and all candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays. We have a full-time position available.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school graduate.
- Previous experience in hotel supervisory role.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and employees to their understanding.
- Ability to compute mathematical calculations.
- Ability to provide legible verbal and written communication.
- Computer training.
- Certification in First Aid and C.P.R.
- Certification in C.A.R.E.
- Valid Florida driver's license.
Essential Skills:
- Ability to enforce hotel standards, policies and procedures.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments; delegate work.
- Ability to direct performance of staff and follow up with corrections where needed.
- Ability to motivate staff and maintain a cohesive team.
- Ability to be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems exercising good judgment.
- Ability to focus attention to details.
- Ability to input and access information into the computer system (i.e. reservations, check-in/out process)
- Ability to remain calm and courteous with demanding/difficult guests and/or situations.
- Ability to perform job functions to standards under pressure within any given period of time.
- Ability to ensure security and confidentiality of guest and hotel information.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Ability to accurately report accidents, claims and investigations.
