A position in the Commercial Operations Division at Lyons Magnus. This position is based at our headquarters in Fresno, CA facility and involves support of commercializing custom products for large national restaurant chain accounts and new launches to support our foodservice accounts.
This fast-paced position as a Senior Commercialization Specialist is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the product commercialization process from inception to delivery. This candidate will be responsible for project management; commercialization of new items and continued project management related to existing sales items. The individual will support the sales organization by managing key accounts to support sales growth and contribute to organizing inside sales efforts. Included, are day-to-day reviews of production at multiple manufacturing facilities and providing updates to support efficient production with high levels of communication to customers, sales leads and multiple divisions within Lyons.
Pay Range: $85,000 - $125,000/year
Hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM
Schedule: Monday - Friday

Core Responsibilities:
- Project Management, alignment within all cross-functional departments for product development, commercialization, and continued supply.
- Customer Interface - project and commercial business lead for key customers.
- Conduct New Item Project Review Presentations and Announcements.
- Weekly/Monthly Customer Inventory/Contract updates.
- Provide customer forecasts to Supply Chain and Production Departments and authorization of purchases of raw materials for finished goods.
- Annual fruit and key raw material purchase management.
- Contribute to weekly meetings with meaningful activity including assignments, results and future planning.
- Update internal departments with project details, timelines and customer requirements.
- Communicate with ingredient and packaging suppliers as needed to support the business.
- Review details for customer follow-up and take appropriate action to bring solutions.
- Verifying PO placement of Raw Materials for Commercialization.
- Coordinate Shipping and Tracking of samples to customers.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent project management with exceptional accuracy of details.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally, in writing, via virtual platforms (i.e., Zoom and Microsoft Teams) and in person. Consistently uses communication skills to influence outcomes.

- Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Office and CRM platforms preferably with Microsoft Dynamics AX and Salesforce.

- Great Interpersonal skills as is required for interaction with leadership of key customers.
- Ability to learn manufacturing processing technology (pasteurization, blending mixing, etc.).
- Ability to travel occasionally to various Lyons manufacturing plants, customer meetings and industry functions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing multi-unit commercial restaurant accounts or contract packaging accounts
- Background in product commercialization, product planning, financial analysis, and supply chain management
- Previous experience using Salesforce
