Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a vibrant dining environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in fine dining or nightclub settings, showcasing exceptional guest service skills while ensuring a memorable dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing attentive service, upselling menu items, and maintaining high standards of food safety and handling.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage offerings.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and address any concerns promptly.
- Buss tables efficiently to maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
- Adhere to all food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation.
- Utilize OpenTable or similar reservation systems for managing guest bookings effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in fine dining, nightclub, or food service environments is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Proven sales skills with an aptitude for upselling menu items.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality are essential.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
