Position Summary:
We are looking for a Server to provide an excellent dining experience for our guests at our restaurants and catering events. You will serve food and beverages to guests while maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment. A great server will be able to communicate effectively with our guests and bring an authentic dining experience. We all have varying skill sets but when it comes to sharing a kitchen, we all have the same amount of power! The ideal candidate will be able to work quickly while paying attention to detail. Responsibilities:
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, preparing meat or fish, or setting tables)
- Interact with guests in a friendly manner
- Take orders correctly and quickly – with attention to detail
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish inventory and supplies
- Monitor inventory and keep prices consistent
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Ensure that all tables are clean and tidy before guests arrive
- Assist in other departments as needed or assigned (e.g. cashier, server)
Experience:
- You have previous work experience as a Server or similar role (preferably within the restaurant industry)
- You have previous customer service experience or basic knowledge of the industry (preferably within the industry)
- You have previous experience with restaurant equipment (e.g. cash register)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $3.00 per hour
